It seems these days that "tack driver" when it comes to 3-400 dollar air rifles is 1/2" groups at 20 yards. I just purchased a Benjamin Nitro Piston and it's super quiet, but after 150 pellets it either has not broken in yet, or has issues.
    I fly everywhere backwards.

the biggest problem the Benjamin NP has is the trigger...

even after replacing and adjusting the trigger, there are other 'mods' that need be made to help the NP and even AFTER said mods, it's not likely you'll ever have a "Tack driving" NP rifle.

i have the Benjamin Trail NP in 22 caliber and have made extensive mods/adjustments to it.

i have had good accuracy success utilizing 21 grain H&N Barracuda Match/Beeman Kodiak pellets and utilizing a sand-bagged forward support, though.

it generates adequate fpe but the NP is very violent and, IMO, accuracy suffers from that. i also found the chronograph tells a different story than their advertised fps; chrono says average of 660 fps using 14.3 grain crosman hunting premier pellets. their advertisement says "Up to 20 fpe". the 14.3 grain at 660 fps=13.5 fpe

we are told not to judge muslims by what a few do...yet, the NRA membership and firearms owners are ALL considered as radical...
