    .25 automatic build

So, frustrated with the limited options and high ammo prices of shooting my long guns in So Cal with any volume or regularity, I decided on a automatic airgun. But I found that the choices were limited and very expensive for something of power and accuracy.

So I built one. First a .22 and now a .25 that I finished this weekend. The .25 is shooting 31 grn at about 780 fps, for about 43 fpe. And with the integrated shroud it is very back yard friendly (assuming legal compliance of course).

Here's the rifle. Discerning eyes with detect that the receiver and cycling action came from an autococker paintball gun as it fires from a closed bolt. Then it had to be gutted and juiced to make everything on it more powerful.
If folks are interested I can post a build log. Including parts, beer, tooling, and a nice dinner to placate the wife, it cost about the same as an entry level PCP. Accuracy is quite good, but not bench gun good. But then that wasn't the point.

    Heck yeah

Post up how you tweaked that from a paintball gun to pellet gun

What ammo are you shooting and how does it feed???
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

      .25 build

Here's the link to the build log. Not much of the paintball gun left in the end. It runs of Benjamin marauder magazines so can fire anything. cycles perfectly.
