San Joaquin & Multi-State CCW class in Tracy

New applicant class 16 hours February 12-13 $325
Renewal applicant class 4 hours February 13 $100

The class meets the training requirements for San Joaquin's concealed carry permit. Most students choose a class (and instructor) based on how soon the class is offered, where it's taught and how much it costs. Since any approved class meets the training requirements prospective students don't think as much about the class content. I believe that's a mistake. Content does vary. If you are going to spend 16 hours with someone don't you want to make sure your time is well spent?

The new applicant class also meets the non-resident CCW training requirement for Arizona and Florida.

    Feedback from previous students:
"I was genuinely surprised at how much I learned and enjoyed the class. Worth the time and money well spent."
"It was a well thought out class with good information and training."
"It was the most comprehensive firearms course I've ever taken, and I've been through a few. You'll learn more than just what's advertised."
"The instruction is both current and relevant to anyone planning on carrying for self defense. Real world experience is brought to the classroom in a captivating way and Robin really gives every student what feels like individual attention."

    About the instructor:
Robin is an active law enforcement officer with fourteen years of experience. He is POST certified as a pistol and rifle instructor and serves as an instructor for his department. In addition to teaching Robin is an active student and continues to take classes including SureFire's low light instructor's course, TacMed's law enforcement tactical lifesaver, Tactical awareness and threat recognition, and Sig Sauer's red dot instructor's course.

If I already have my CCW from Stanislaus and wanted to take a multi state class. Is this ok?
What states does your class cover?

You're welcome to take the class and apply it towards a non-resident AZ or FL permit but it seems like overkill. An AZ or FL permit is recognized in about 34 other states.

        CCW training class

Just took this class over the weekend. I really enjoyed it. Very logical, practical instruction and information. Safety was always a priority without
being rude about it. I thought Robins' mellow demeanor was very conducive to learning all of the training objectives. I'd highly recommend this class to anyone needing a CCW training class for the counties he covers.

Gun Kraft by Robin Yang is the best 16 hour training course i ever had. Robin is very knowledgeable and he will take his time to ensure ?you? understand the basics and will guide you every steps. Thank you, Robin and i will be seeing you in 2yrs for renewal.

I just wrapped up a CCW permit training with Gun Kraft over the weekend, and it was worth every penny. Robin knows his stuff and clearly has a passion for the material.

The curriculum was straight-to-the-point and very thorough. We went beyond just using a weapon for self-defense and dove into practical material that "you don't know you don't know". Examples: holster types, tips for drawing from different positions, clothing choices, and secondary EDC items that are worth carrying. There was also a really packed section on emergency medical equipment. This is a subject I'm familiar with already, but I learned about a tourniquet type that I didn't previously know about, which has some significant advantages over the standard CAT version.

Robin really excelled in breaking down tactics for different scenarios, keeping it engaging and relatable. His approach made everything feel very accessible and his training style (especially on the range) keeps everything very orderly and easy to follow.

Value for money? Definitely. The amount of knowledge and skills picked up during the course far outweighed the cost, I definitely felt I got more than I paid for. It's top-notch training that delivers more than what you'd expect. Solid five stars.
I use to be an anarchist but I quit that; there's too many rules.
