    Connecticut Non-Resident Pistol Permit

Mailed in a Connecticut Non-Resident Application.

The process starts with emailing a non-resident request to SLFU.OOS@ct.gov

I followed up a month later and called (860) 685-8290 but was transferred to a non-resident desk and they mailed an application with bad ink and forgot about the process.

Eventually, I was emailed they mailed a non-resident application from my initial email.

I signed up and paid $77.25 on the portal pre-fingerprint enrollment at https://ct.flexcheck.us.idemia.io/CCHRSPreEnroll/ you are given a unique number in the application prior to being fingerprinted. Went to a Live Scan near my home and had them also notarize my passport and documents of NRA Basic Pistol training and a copy of CCW Alameda County California. $60 total cost.

Mailed my application on 2/23/2023 with a Post Office money order for $70. I was told it can take up to 5 Months.

AWE, who’s that handsome fellow with nice teeth that hasn’t been born yet

Glad they got it to you pretty quick.

Didn’t know documents had to be notarized.

Yes, I'm a young pup. I was very surprised they need notarized documents. They send the forms of what needs to be notarized it was not that difficult. And it was very fast turn around I have read it is a 5 Month process for non-residents.
