Does Florida accept CA and/or UT CCW as evidence of training

I have both CA and UT CCWs. Looking to apply for one in FL. Would either of these permits work as evidence of training?

You can use your California CCW for proof...when you send in your application...send in a copy of your California CCW both front and back ...AND...a copy of your firearm training certificate...make sure your fingerprint card is wet ink rolled at a police station!!...they don't take live can prints..

That would only work for AZ.

For FL, see link here: https://www.fdacs.gov/Consumer-Resou...-Documentation

Your CA CCW training should work if it shows instructor credentials.

For UT, you will need to take the class from a UT certified instructor.

          Fingerprinting for Florida CCW application

I am located I?m Alameda county and having trouble finding a PD that offers fingerprinting services. Florida will only accept inked fingerprints done by police departments. Any tips would be appreciated.

Didn't Florida just become constitutional carry?

                  Yeah, I know it?s MSM?.

Florida residents will be able to carry concealed guns without a permit under a bill signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

I?m a FL resident now, with a FL license. Love it!

Some colleges have their own police departments. That's how I got mine done, but I don't live in your area.

Thanks for the tip! I tried the CSUEast Bay PD and was informed that they only offer live scan.

I don’t know why I can’t get on their website to download an application. I am using three separate devices and have searched on each of them for the department of agriculture website for Florida on all three without any success. Am I the only person that can’t get on here or am I being blocked for some reason? It says the server can’t be found.

Florida is Constitutionally Carry as of 7/1/23 for all, even non-residents, but there are two benefits to a FL CCW license AFAIK. 1) Exemption from 1,000ft Gun Free School Zone and 2) Reciprocity with other states that your CA permit does not provide.
