Vegas Renewal Time

For those interested, my Vegas renewal just arrived in the mail EXACTLY 120 days after submitting the application.

Yes but Vegas/Nevada is still so red compared to California it's like the elevator scene from "The Shining".

I'm going with "yep".

• Open carry without a permit on your person or in your vehicle
• CCW permits issued for out of state residents
• Wide acceptance of other states' permits
• Shall Issue for CCW permits
• No nonsense with serial numbers or limits on # of guns. Qualify with ANY handgun and you can carry ANY handgun
• 5 year permit terms
• No magazine restrictions
• No roster
• No monthly limit on gun purchases
• No ammo restrictions
• Most interesting of all, in response to localities such as North Las Vegas and Henderson trying to enforce more restrictive local ordinances, a relatively recent state law nullifying them all and overriding qualified immunity and authorizing you to sue both the agency and the officer PERSONALLY for attempting to enforce them. Specific penalties apply.

Short of Constitutional carry or the unproven 2A sanctuary state status, I'm not sure what more you could ask for. Certainly miles ahead of California.

Yes, I thought we were talking about state law. So we agree on that.

As far as I can tell, local sheriffs are so constrained by state law, especially in a shall issue and personal liability environment, that whatever their gun politics are, there is almost nothing they can do to implement those politics. Words aside, I'm unaware of anything Lombardo has actually done that would qualify as anti-2A.
