That is why I didn't touch on those ones. Texas requires the training be completed in Texas, but the rest can be done online and/or via mail.

My VA license will expire in a couple of years. I guess I will just not renew it and get the UT license at the expiring of VA. I don't see VA license having any advantage over UT. Or, am I missing something?

The men who wrote the 2nd Amendment hadn't just finished a hunting trip.

They had just liberated a nation.

Having multiple is usually a good idea as reciprocity/recognition changes often enough.

Who knows what the reciprocity/recognition map will look like in two years...

            Since you currently have Virginia,

Getting Utah now would add 2 states (Washington state and Delaware)

Getting Florida now would add 2 states as well (Florida and Delaware)

Getting Arizona now would add 1 state (Delaware)

You could also add just Delaware with a Maine permit

Which one covers NV, AZ, and OR?

I would definitely like WA to be covered for I sparingly go fishing/hunting trips, and for NV & AZ... well for casino trip mostly.

Everything covers Arizona. You actually do not even need a permit in Arizona

All of those except Maine covers Nevada

Nothing covers Oregon except an Oregon permit.

I personally have CA, UT, AZ, FL, and NH. I had VA and (accidently) let it expire.

I guess I will keep VA and apply for UT later and that will pretty much cover most of western states I visit frequently.

Sorry for the confusion, I meant to say that I go to Utah quite often for work. Utah permit covers WA.
