    Florida Non Res CCW Refund

I just received a $10.00 refund check from Florida for my renewal that was processed last year.

    It was my second renewal.

I know I paid a late fee 0f $15.00. Glad to get some money back.

My wife and I have Florida non-resident permits. Haven't seen a check.

I did have a small fight with them for my last renewals. I sent payment in, but they took 13 days to process it, and said that my permit expired before the check was processed, so I owed $15 as a late fee. While that isn't a significant amount of money, I took it up with their supervisory staff because it shouldn't be my fault that their bureaucracy had my payment for nearly two weeks before cashing the check. In the end they waived the late fee.
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

I got my refund about two months ago for my initial application.
Letter said they dropped their fees and owed me a refund.
        sweet!

Hold your breath, I'm pretty sure California is going to send us refund checks for charging me what amounts to $500 to get my permit here.
