Utah permit looks nice

Well just received my long awaited Utah permit, & looks awesome, all hologramish like.

In early enough to use in WA next month, wheeew, I was sweating it just a little, as I did not want to simply lock them up when crossing the border to WA, it's better to carry than leave in vehicle, IMHO.

How many still waiting for their Utah ?

I have a California CCW.

Do I have to take a different class in order to obtain the Utah BCI approved Firearm Familiarity Certification?

If so, is the course basically a rehash of the initial CCW course that California requires?

I mailed my AZ app off on Aug 8. Just over 2 months at this point.

Sept 13: Mailed application
Sept 15: Utah receives my application
Sept 26: Utah charged by credit card for the application fee.

I guess I shouldn't hold my breath if you've been waiting over 2 months and haven't yet heard anything.

Thanks Son. You're right. I emailed them and was told it was going out in the mail today. A couple hours later, received a notification that USPS received the pickup request.

Basically 60 days plus the 2-3 days postage each wa. YMMV.
