FL fingerprint cards MUST be done at a law enforcement agency

Dang! I must have missed it in the instructions.

FL has put my application on hold because my fingerprint card was not produced by a law enforcement agency. They sent me the original card back with a new one stating that if the original card was created at a law enforcement agency, that they are to put their information on the back in the upper right hand corner and send the card back. If not, then I need to use the new card to get another set of prints, this time at a law enforcement agency.

Now, need to hunt down a police department that will fingerprint me. I have thirty days to get it done before they trash my application, (and most likely lose my fee).

I apologize for creating this thread. Wasn't able to delete it. Yes, the instructions clearly state, in all-capital letters that fingerprints need to be created by a Law Enforcement Agency. I did not read the instructions carefully. Sorry to waste your time.

Your local PD, sheriff, or FBI may be able to pull prints. They are just trying to guarantee that the prints are really yours and not someone else's.

Closest 'Law Enforcement' agency near to me was in either Long Beach or Rancho Cucamonga. I went to Thousand Oaks. Was in and out within about fifteen minutes.
