I'm a Utah resident and I just got my Idaho Enhanced. In order for a non-Idaho resident to get it, you have to have your CCW from the state where you are a resident. Which I do.

Actually Nevada honors non-resident permits, however Nevada did drop recognition of the Arizona CWP just like they previously dropped Utah and Florida!

Pennsylvania technically does honor non-resident permits, there is no statute against it and they have historically done so. However the new AG has been utilizing her position to "legislate" PA law and has unilaterally forced states to either drop reciprocity with PA or revise their reciprocity agreements to now EXCLUDE non-resident permits!

I can still carry in PA on my New Hampshire non-resident permit, however NH made an administrative change to now require a permit from your home state in order to apply for a NH non-resident permit. This is being litigated and is a topic for another thread, which I will post soon.

          Really Quiet?

I am surprised, the Utah renewal is only $15 for five years! Why not keep Utah at the very least for a back-up, plus it is honored in many more states that Nevada....

Never went to a State that honored it. Thought I would, but never did.
So, I just let it expire, same with my C&R FFL.

With the permits you currently have, a Florida permit will NOT add any new states other than just Florida and you would not even need a Florida permit if they would simply honor non-resident permits....

                      I have CA and AV.
It sucks that NV doesn't accept AZ or CA.
I go to NV all the time.
                      Maybe NV is next.

That was my experience with Nevada as well. Having only the CA to base comparisons from (I declined to take the FL & UT extra when I got my CA) - it was totally night & day.

Still haven't received it in the mail though - it's been just over a month though.

As opposed to California which is well known for being so accommodating to nonresidents who wish to carry legally there
