    My minimalist LCP "holster"

A Clipdraw and a modified WIC holster..

Not thinking I could get smaller than this and still have any sense of safety or security (gun not falling)

Had to whittle a bit off of the WIC holster to clear the clip.. so far I like it.

The WIC holsters are a pretty cool concept.. cop friend of mine turned me onto them

What do you do with the lanyard? Where to you attach it?

To your belt loop.. When you draw you pull out the gun with the WIC holster.. As you bring the the gun up the WIC is pulled off the gun.. Works great

Nice! Do you clip it on to your pocket or IWB?

Actually I'm waiting for this gun to get added to my card

But I've practiced with IWB.. didn't even think of clipping in the pocket.. will try.

The clip seems nice.. the base attaches with tape and the clip can be removed from the base if needed (to carry in a regular holster).. seems to have really good holding power.

I've been looking into pocket guns for the last few weeks, I've seen them clipped on to the pocket (front and back), like this:

            Sorry, wrong pic.

            I meant like this:

like the clip idea.. not so fond of an exposed trigger (especially with no safety).. so this combo seemed like the best compromise..

For the LCP a sticky holster or Remora works great.

+1 on the sticky for an LCP

Did you make that yourself Steve? I dig it. I have that carry clip on my 1911 and have been considering something like that for it, and for my p938.

DeSantis Super Fly similar to those also! I like it because it comes with an additional Velcro on piece for when you need more coverage!

What is between the metal clip and the gun to protect it?

A small steel flat piece sticks to the side of the gun (removable and they give you extra 3M tape).. the clip then screws to this base.. that way you can easily remove the clip if you want to run in a standard holster..

So far it's worked out awsome.. if it's clipped in my waistband, or on my pocket (like a pocket knife) I almost forget it's there.

Thinking of trying this combo on my Shield..

So far the clip and the WIC holster has been a real winner..
