    Concealed carry holsters

Looking for a comfortable CC holster for my glock 26 and 21. With so many choices out there its a bit confusing. I wanted to see what everyone else uses and likes. More importantly why you like or dislike a certain type of holster.

ETA - in responses, it would probably be helpful to provide URL links to the holster makers'/sellers' sites.

Galco King-Tuk IWB for the G26.
Hides really well @ 4:00, comfortable for all day carry.

Haven't received it yet but word of mouth, that alien gear has nice ones. I ordered 1 still waiting.

Crossbreed > Alienware in my opinion. I have 4 Crossbreed holsters now and doubt I'll be switching again anytime soon. Every time I try a different holster I always come back to Crossbreed.

I have a Crossbreed Supertuck that is the most comfortable holster that I've ever had and I started carrying in the 1980's.

Another vote for Crossbreed. Spend the extra couple bucks for horsehide. You won't be disappointed.

I have the Kingtuk for my G27 and while it's a quality holster, I don't really think you need to spend 60-70 bucks for a functional hybrid. I have a few Foxx hybrids for some of my other pistols and they work just as well for a little more than half the price of the Galco.

This is what I am using, I figure made in the USA, lifetime bumper to bumper warranty AND a 6 week trial is worth it to me. YMMV

The reason why there's so many choices is because everyone's body type is different, and what may work for me may not work for you.

I've used across Bread holsters but never really liked that large IWB holster feel on me, and don't like my guns at my 4:00 position. For me, I run custom 1-piece kydex AWIB PJ holsters with my guns, and keep them at my 1:00 position. With small guns like my G42, Shield, and G26, they hide away so well I don't even know they're there. With larger guns like my G19 and G17, I can still conceal them just fine but for my body, I need a low ride deep concealment holster with a 15 degree cant. Then they hide away or my appendix area and feel comfortable to wear all day long, and are still easy to draw from.

Look into Theis Holsters. Similar to the CB but 3/4 the price. The customer service with Theis is great. I got a iwb from CB with very little retention and it took 3 days to get a return shipping label.

AlienGear Holsters. Don't be caught thinking cost implies quality; you'd be wrong with the high quality, lower cost AlienGear selections.

On that note, I love my Little Fox holster. Its small, one clip at 4 o'clock inside the waist band, sometimes i forget its there. Don't know if thats a good thing but thats how comfortable it is. Im 6'3" thin build but i do love my beer so i have love handles.
