    HIP Gunner Concealed Carry

Is anyone running the HIP Gunner Concealed Carry by Elite Survival Systems?

I wanted to see any impressions?

I have several Vertx bags I use for most of my off body carry needs, but wanted to find something a little smaller for those quick trips to the store.

    Thank you

    Is this the fanny pack?

If it is, I can't weigh in. I'm looking at options, and don't want to miss anything.

Haha yep, it is the fanny pack. The photos I see online most people are wearing it more as a over the shoulder vs fanny.

if you're a man, carrying any kind of man purse, hip bag, fanny pack, sling bag, etc is a big flashing "i carry" sign to cops and would be thieves

It would be better if they didn't have the big "Elite" logo splashed all over the front. It might as well say, "OPERATOR."

Don't do it. It's too big for what it does. It has too much padding. So that leaves no room for wallets, phones, keys. Only money clips.

            Look for a 3 slot/compartment pack.

What about the wide carry belt / over the shoulder carry zippered small bag thing ?

What ever the heck it's called !
First spotted them at the local casino , few oriental blokes carrying them.
Now I'm seeing more of them when I'm out and about....

I had fanny packs way back when, I think, they first came out (was it the 70s or 80s).
This was prior to me carrying firearms and it's my understanding they were to be worn with the back portion to the rear (hence the name "fanny").

A larger backpack/daypack/rucksack could also be worn if not too large and not extending over one's waist.
Later, I saw folks wearing the fanny-pack with the bag on the front whether hiking, walking, jogging, bicycling, etc. It was just easier to access one's stuff rather than pulling the back around from the back.
Later still, some inventive folks began making fanny-packs with the specific intention of carrying one's handgun whether with special pockets, easy-pull zippers, "Velcro" closures; other various ways to allow for an easier/quicker/faster drawing of one's handgun.

Now, I suppose, as I've not personally yet noticed it, folks are wearing them as alternate "sling" bags, which is another semi-off-body carry option, of which I do use mainly for carrying my laptop computer(s).

For me, my main carry holsters are IWB, AIWB, or OWB type. I don't have much use for any bag or off-body carry; shoulder-holster; ankle; or body armor carry. I've used or tried them all, some more than others.

I hesitate to criticize any method as each person's circumstances and personal preferences will differ. One of the main things is to at least, have a gun. Access, retention, security of one's handgun can be a compromise.
