I just tried out my Vaultek Lifepod in my Model S with good success. I too would love to find something that fits in my center console, but no luck so far.
Instead of putting it under either seat, which is annoying in case anyone ever wants to lower the seat, I looped the cable to the seat post, and placed it on the floor in between the front seats, immediately behind the center console. It fits perfectly there. The floor mat has a flap at that very spot (Model S 2022), that I lifted up and over the LifePod to "hide" it from view. The cable is just barely long enough that from the front, I can lift it up onto the top of the center console to insert my firearm and put it back.
