    CCW during camping (National forest)

    Hello,

Do you carry your CCW when camping in national forest? Are we even allowed to do ao despite having a CCW?

I apologize if this is a repost somewhere.

    Thanks

Pretty sure this is a yes. Just can’t carry in a Federal building, ranger station, museum, etc.

Museum is a sensitive location? Never heard of that…

I always check the website of the national park or forest or give them a call

If it's a federal building... like owned by the National Park Service or something, then yeah it's illegal to carry in there

There is a list in the Camping, outdoors section.

Good thing about National forests is that they can't send cop cars after you for carrying without a permit. Just run deeper into the forest and lose 'em
