    Summer clothes (shirts and jackets)

    Hello everyone,

I am looking to find out what the best option for summer tops is. It?s starting to get too warm wearing a jacket and I would like suggestions what people wear with their CCW. Any brands, styles that cover well and keep you cool?

    Thank you,

    Good topic ..

This is my thoughts on warm weather IWB carry

I for one wear a Good quality white undershirt
Then an loose hanging plaid button up shirt
I even have have some ' mild pattern ' Hawaiian shirts that work well.
Now L.A. police gear have some Nice longer cut shirts I have bought in the past
A loose hanging untucked shirt is the key

As was mentioned in past posts
You Have to dress to carry ...
Meaning put the shirt on ,, look in the mirror ,,, Does your weapon show ??? Move around , Reach up

I've been carrying a few years now ,Never been Spoted
    Good luck with your choices

      IWB with untucked shirt daily.

It doesn't need to be more complicated than that.

Been doing it for years (even before moving to AZ).

I just go with a heavy cotton T-shirt untucked, but I'm retired and don't have to dress for work. Carhartt makes good heavyweight T's.

Eddie Bauer makes shirts in Tall sizes. If attempting to conceal, more tail won't fail.

I'm not a Hawai'ian shirt guy. Admit that the print breaks up visual cues of something underneath.

Worrying about 'printing' or a glimpse being seen - goes away after the first few months of carrying.

The vast majority don't know or care.

It's a non-issue unless you're carrying illegal, which I understand - but even then, the individual is more aware than anyone around him/her.

I have about a dozen Carhartt Tall T-Shirts, and my wife and daughter cannot tell I have my .45 inside my waistband. I also have some light flannel shirts but usually don't need them.

I've carried a full size (p226) IWB in the Bay Area for over 10 years, most of the time in a t-shirt and shorts. Don't sweat it. As stated here before, if anyone does happen to see a bump, they will think it's a cell phone if they think at all.

Someone else posted these last year in a similar thread, I bought a couple and found they are nice. Squared bottom so it looks like they are made to be worn untucked. Many patterns and colors.

Like others already mentioned untucked loose shirts are what I usually wear in the summer . I also CCW while wearing loose r shirts as well. I do make sure that the shirt/t-shirt is long enough so that if I try to reach a high shelve in the store it still cover the pistol .

Looks Iike there might be a pocket on left - yes?

I briefly read description and didn't see mention... imzoomed into photo and looks like there's stitching there (outlining a pocket)... If so, I like how it blends in... I don't want to order unless I know there's a pocket

                        Your confirmation would be appreciated

Thank you all for the comments. I am going to start sampling some of these clothes to see what works best for me.
