    The DCC monoblock is a very popular option for the holsters I make. I've had plenty of customers tell me that they like the benefit of using it with gym shorts. If you use a light gun like you mentioned it works very well with shorts without a belt because the monoblock has two hooks that grab the material so the entire holster doesn't come out when trying to unholster your gun. No need to sew belt loops unless you need a belt to keep you pants up because of the weight.
