    Another Shield Holster Question

I'm new to carry and I'm looking for a minimal holster for 4:30 position for use in summer with just a t shirt. I have a Bravo Concealment Torsion and it's ok but seems to print a bit more than I like, maybe because I'm new to this and a bit paranoid about printing. I borrowed a friends Crossbreed, it's and older one that's pretty wide, has poor retention and seems too much, but it is more comfortable (horse hide) and prints less.

I know everyone is different but trying to research this online is annoying. Every top five, top ten, etc. list comes up with Alien Gear Shape Shift Carry pack like it's the end all be all and they have paid off the gun world in mass.

Many say that setup us just too much for a Shield and I agree. I don't want something like the AXIS Slim because I don't want the magazine on it.

My want list is minimal, comfort (hybrid?) with the least printing.

I'm leaning toward something like this.

So what's in your wallet, or right above it.

I like Tulster as it’s a rather thin design. Although a bit pricy, it is comfortable and I carry at 3 o’clock with minimal print. Even in my ‘tightest’ shirts, it’s not noticeable.

A Shield works great with just a Sticky holster (or a Clinger Comfort) and any kind of belt....as comfortable as you can get and enough retention.

A lot of people use Sticky holsters....they work. You don’t need a bulky Kydex holster for that

AlienGear Grip Tuck also has a smaller footprint and works well....has a clip for added holster retention when you pull the firearm.

Agree with the try Precision Holsters comment. I have several including for shield and Glock 42. Very comfortable, good retention and reliable draw. Also like Recluse holster for back pocket jeans carry. Even had him make me one with a flap that comes up over the grip strap for extra concealment.

I carry mine in a UBG leather OWB holster and rarely have it covered with more than a t-shirt (I buy t-shirts in tall sizes so they cover a little better). I've been carrying this way for years without anybody ever noticing, and it's way more comfortable than any IWB holster, IMO.

+1 for precision holsters, they are better than my Bravo Concealment

did some quick searching on amazon...found this tuckable one.

also found the desantis softuck to be reasonably comfortable, care when holstering would be good as the only reinforcement of the top edge is that brown leather band.

I carry a Glock 17 in a Blade Tech IWB holster at about 3:00 position. I think no one notices it.

I gave up on hybrids, I don't like how the leather always begins to fold over the holster mouth.

I really like my JM 2.5's

The Sticky is pretty comfortable and versatile. I use mine for appendix carry and when I am wearing cargo shorts with good size pockets, I just drop it in the big pocket on the side of my leg. That is the most comfortable carry method of all for me, I can drive a car all day and hardly know its there. If you have to draw from a standing position, its a bit longer reach, but if you have to draw from a seated position (say inside your vehicle), drawing out of the cargo pocket is really easy. And the sticky holster obscures the shape of the pistol so no one ever suspects you have anything in your cargo pocket.

My favorite IWB holster for my Shield is a cheap CYA that I got from Amazon. I've tried a few, and this one is still my go-to when I carry IWB.
