i pretty much gave up holsters, pocket carry almost 100% of the time

safeguards are in place with my jackets to ensure no accidental trigger pulls

i do like that Sneaky Pete type of carry too - might buy one just for the hell of it

What are you carrying and what is your body type?

Maybe your putting unrealistic expectations on it. It’s never gonna feel like your not carrying. No matter what you carry or how you carry there will be some level of if not discomfort at least realization that something is there.

Some people are use to this feeling, LE(duty belts), military(LBE), Lineman, construction workers, Carpenters, etc. The key just like with these professions is to build up your resistance too it, after day in and day out of carrying stuff on your body you get so use to it it doesn’t effect you anymore.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

I only carry when legal. Private property, fishing and hunting etc. Milt sparks HANDS DOWN.

For IWB comfort, Uncle Mikes soft holster. The only thing they could do to improve it is continue the soft siding up the inside against your body. They also start showing wear fairly quickly.

Once summer kicks in I’ll find out how comfortable it is in the heat.

I am looking for suggestions on a paddle holster that is a bit more solid feeling than Fobus, with more security with a level 2 retention.

Alien gear doesn’t make one for a Glock 21

5.11 Holster shirt in cooler weather...can't seem to find any cheaper than $70 anywhere, though.

I use a good belt and have a couple White Hat holsters. Have no problems. Single clip for my P365 and double clip when I go full size.

+another vote for sticky. Well, technically a DeSantis Pocket Tuck. It's almost completely bumped my CrossBreed MiniTuck out of the rotation for my PM9 and it's all I ever use for my S&W 442 revolver.

Check out the DeSantis Mag Packer as well for keeping an extra mag in your weak-hand front pocket.

No sir. I did see I missed a phone call from you that day and have been working all week, so I haven't gotten a chance to call back. Is Milt Sparks here in Garden City then??

I just feel like I'm getting "hot spots" for a lack of better words on my side when I carry for hours on end. I'd like to be able to go fish in jeans and a t-shirt and not set off every fish and game officer that comes across me. OWB is more comfortable, but I'd love to find an IWB that I can wear all day without boring a hole in me.

Dogs we're going to try to keep around another 6 months to a year and we're going to give this thought another go. I'm trying to get my kids ready for the concept in the next 6 months. Then after that they'll better understand.

For what it's worth to those who asked, I carry a full sized Canik TP9SA in an OWB Alien gear, and in an IWB alien gear cloak tuck 3.0. I also Carry a Taurus PT-709 Slim in the same alien gear IWB/OWB combo. I carry a Ruger SR22 in an Alien Gear cloak Tuck 2.0, and in a sticky holster in my right front pocket, or in a jacket pocket. I just got a KelTec PMR30 that I'd like to be able to carry but I think it may be a bit too big in the handle area.

All these responses and no one agreed you are being a baby??

I kid, no offense meant. I've tried a LOT of different holsters as well. Finally I accepted that it's simply not comfortable, but it is comforting knowing it's there. Galco King Tuk, and the Crossbreed seemed to provide the most comfort for me for larger guns, and I use a kydex for my Shield. Like Stormvet said, you just get used to it. Now I don't even think about it and actually feel like I'm missing something if it's not there.

I have several different IWB's and the one I use the most is the https://tuckergunleather.com/cover-up-plus-holster/.

I carry a Dan Wesson Guardian and I forget it is there also. It's tuckable even though I wear a lot of my shirts untucked. Just wish they would make brown belt clips.

I have a remora and a kydex for my Shield that I swap out but I'm probably ordering another Cover up for it.

Edit: I also generally wear a t-shirt under everything which I think adds t my comfort and also makes my regular shirts last longer

I've tried Alien Gear, pocket holsters, inside waistband holsters from various companies that are made out of a soft material and supposedly comfortable right out of the box. I've tried different belts from Hanks leather to Mission to rigging belts and others, I just feel like everything ends up giving me a sore thigh or butt cheek. Honestly am I just being a baby and posters just aren't that comfortable because it is what it is, or is there some kind of holster that just works better than another one? I carry a lot it's not like it's my first time carrying, but I found that since I carry more and more frequently I end up with a hotspot on my thigh and hip. Any suggestions or help would be great.
Does body shape or weight play a part in this?

Body shape and weight definitely matter. Until I drop at least ten pounds my spare tire makes an IWB uncomfortable and impossible to draw from.
