    Mag pouch or holster

Im looking for a mag carrier, pouch, or holster to carry OWB. However, Im looking to carry it horizontal to my waist versus vertical. I would like it to parallel to my belt while on. (hoping that makes sense) I'm a bigger guy and have some stuff hanging over the sides LOL. I was able to find one but the belt loops doesn't fit my 1.5inch belt and its a little too bulky. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

I’m confused. Are you looking for a mag pouch or a gun holster?

If you want a mag pouch, these can be used vertically or horizontally — your choice: http://precisionholsters.com/product...g-pouches.html

Plus, it’s a Placerville company so you can help support local business.

Sorry- looking for a magazine pouch or holster for my extra mag. As of now, I keep it in my back pocket. I would like for it to be more readily accessible. As of now, the only ones I have found are vertical. I would like for it to be horizontal to my belt. Thanks for the link. Looks like it might work.

Great idea on the cell phone case- I was actually able to find an old multi-tool case made by Nite Ize? I think it got it at home depot. But the kydex holster will definitely last longer.

What kind of gun? Front or back? I'm a big guy too, if you're like me you're gonna run into the problem that a crossdraw is difficult because you can only reach so far across the belly. Sucks. There are a few small of back holsters that are close to horizontal but butt up because of draw.

Another option is underarm. IWB isn't too bad really with the right holster. I like the king tuck w a double stack sub compact 45. I use an Andrews leather holster, mcdaniels crossdraw, for a single stack Xds. I haven't got an underarm yet

With nearly daily use, including a class or two that entailed a lot of mag changes, the pouch lasted about 2 years.
I've stocked up on them (I now find them at a truck stop I frequent) so I have a lifetime of them.

I carry a Springfield XD9 4inch service model. I carry it in an IWB Concealment Express holster- of which I'm very happy with. Carry on the RT side at around 3-4 o'clock. Plan on carrying the extra mag holster on the LT side hoping around the 10-11 o'clock so I can reach with weak hand for reload. Thanks for the advice.

I use a leather man pouch for my spare Glock 43 magazine.
