What an AIWB holster should be

If your holster is a pain to put on and off, you may be inclined to carry less.
2 seconds on and 2 seconds off, like slipping on a pair of shoes is about right.

Whether with a belt or no belt, holster and gun should part ways on a draw, every time... without fail.

When carrying chambered, drawing and re-holstering should never be a worry of accidental discharge.

A nice firm retention that eliminates the worry of weapon leaving the holster unintentionally at any time.

It would have been nice if the person who posted that vid taken the time to provide some details like the manufacture of the holster, where it could be purchased, cost, etc..

Without that info, watching the vid was a complete waste of time.

P.S......Plus ...It would have been nice to see the person shake the gun holstered when it was LOADED instead of UNLOADED. Big difference.

The reason for the absence of the information you noted, was because I posted it as a topic of discussion not a sales pitch.

I am the manufacturer, and although I have made and sold many of them, I am not, nor do I wish to be, in the business of selling holsters.

I was illustrating a type of holster that is able to be utilized with or without a belt, that can be installed and removed quickly and easily, and that can safely be drawn from while chambered.

A holster of this type is amazingly absent in the CCW world, for reasons that escape me. Thus the reason for posting for discussion;though, it would seem it has not garnered much interest, perhaps from my less than professional presentation and lack of detail as to my intent for the post.

BTW, if you are interested in pictures of it...

BTW, the gun retention in the holster while loaded is quite adequate, just as when not loaded.

Holster looks very similar to SC Holsters. I have a couple from them.

Perhaps I'm not seeing it but how is this holster absent? It's a kydex appendix holster with a clip. What is so unique about it? JM Custom makes one as do many other kydex holster makers.

Sorry, I can't be any clearer.

In the thread "MP Shield appendix holsters", I showed that most single clip holsters universal holsters set the gun to high for appendix carry. They may work well at 4 o'clock but not appendix 11 o'clock or 1 o'clock. Also, many have too many protruding edges for appendix carry. As for the clip. Most can not adequately retain the holster on draw without the use of a belt

OP, I think it's a reasonable holster, and I am sure your quality is excellent, but as a CCW shop, NSSF member and regular SHOT Show attendee, I see a lot of holsters, have a number sent to me. I think the product looks fine, I have not tested one so cannot make a conclusive statement, but don't feel it has any advantages over a Pitalo, or Cook's, or half a dozen others that I have tested, seen, or handled.

If you have happy customers that is a great thing. If you want to start a discussion on the holster it would be best to have someone here that has purchased one, give a review, or you could send a sample (request it be returned or purchased at the end of some period) and have it tested. There are several guys on the forums who have bought a lot of different holsters and can give an opinion vs other AIWB they have tried. (I am not suggesting I be one of the testers) Gun, scope, high end accessory manufactures often send out samples expecting them back.

Conclusions from a video alone are really hard to trust.

                Just a thought.
