Yes... what gun? I was looking at those for my G43 and didn't know if I should consider the standard, or the mini.

If your happy ignore my comment, but the style of holster should in my opinion, and concealed carry systems are my business, be reserved for full size service weapons, and steel 1911 style weapons. They are overkill for compacts.

For guns like the Shield, G26, G27, G42, G43, XDs, Sig P238, P938, and the list goes on, the holster doesn't need to be or should you really want it to be any larger than the gun itself.

If your happy cool, but there are so many better ways to carry, that will fit virtually all the clothes you already own, are easy to put on, take off, and are comfortable as well as having the most important attribute, being effective in a fight.

Stealthgear has unquestioned quality, just a little more bulk than you really need for the type of gun.

Personal and Professional opinion, but just my opinion.

Ultimately that is all that matters.

So how do you address the spare mag(s) issue?

I use a StealthGear Mini for an HK P2000 (compact). It's extremely comfortable and easy to get on/off. I can drive all day wearing the holster and gun. I also have a "Standard", formerly called an Onyx. It's definitely larger than you need for a compact handgun, but is very comfortable. It's a bit hard to get on/off due to wrapping further around behind the hip. I'd give the Mini more points for driving comfort, but both work.

I don't know about others' experience, but my holster/gun combination definitely let's me know where it wants to be warn. I may want to carry at 3:00, but if I try that position my zipper winds up at 1:30. 4:00 is very comfortable and very easy to conceal the HK in that location.

I just ordered a mini for the G43, stay tuned.

I'd love to get down and see you in Mission Viejo Grantar, I think it would be an eye-opener and a big help in avoiding the plastic storage tub full of holsters. Being in Victorville, it's just quite a round trip through some world class traffic.

Just received the Stealthgear Mini for the G43, wow what a difference in comfort over the single clip Safariland I was using.
