Wanted: Leather motorcycle jacket built for CCW, discuss

I want a MC jacket built for CCW. Maybe a left chest pocket designed as a holster?

I prefer short cut, no collar, no frills MC jackets, none of that Marlon Brando stuff with extra zippers etc etc. Warm liner not required b/c I can wear a heated vest.

I have seen some advertised in my searches of the Web but decisions based on photos online can be challenging. I know I'm usually a 46 or an XL. Would you go a bigger size so you don't print as much?

I have 2 size 46 leather jackets that are sport jackets that fit like a glove and would print like crazy. One is Alpinestars and the other is Joe Rocket. Both are like track jackets, the Joe Rocket is part of a 2 piece track suit, and I want something more casual, probably no armor. Maybe I should go with a 48 for this one?

I have considered the pitfalls of various carrying positions while riding and decided that even if I want to go with another carry position I want options. And I'm shopping for a new everyday riding jacket anyway so why not get one that can do it all?

    Thanks

Check out Lil Joe's. Expensive but good stuff. He's gone now but his wife still makes the good stuff. He used to make stuff for the Angels. Wife had to change the company name. For leather jackets and vests they are legit. Heavy, I mean heavy and gun pockets are standard lol.

Just went to their website. Might not be what it used to be. Bought my vest like 12 years ago. Looks like they embraced the whole Sons of Anarchy crap.

I used to ride with a Kahr P40 in the inside chest pocket of an alpinestar track leather jacket that looked like I was wearing sausage casing and it never printed. I rode on base, to Duffy town in San Diego, all over PB... no one ever knew.

            Fox Creek Leather.

My P320c fits perfectly and it's a heavy well made thick leather jacket.

I'm not sure if the ladies at bates custom leather are still in signal hill but I'm sure they could make you what you need.

                +1 for Fox Creek.
                Better protection and super comfortable.

                Not cheap, but worth it.

I just looked them up also. Looks like nothing has changed in the product line except the SOA reference to their vest.
Same product that Joe put together when the was in Fontana.

                        I prefer my Vanson jacket.
