Which Truglo site for G22 CCW?

I know I want a red front/green rear site but which model is best for carrying w/ a CCW permit in a Cross Breed tactical holster? Is there another brand I should consider?

I have TFX Pros on a G26. Work real nice with the tritium/Fiber Optic. I don't care much for the elongated front sight on the shorter barreled gun but it hasn't made a difference in accuracy. Matter of fact, my G26 spits out tighter groups than my G21, G36, and Sig P226.

I have gotten 4-5 hole groups after firing off 3 full mags. So that longer front sight post hasn't been an issue.

You should check with Cross Breed in terms of fitting the holster you have.

Do you understand the differences between the three sights:

      TFO
      TFX
      TFX Pro

The TFO's are the original and are a low profile design and lack protection of the tubes. There were some reports of tubes falling out and you have to be careful with solvents. It also may be hard to rack the slide on your pants due to the low profile nature of the sights. With these sights you get the option of a green/green or green/yellow combination.

Next is the TFX. This is a snag free design but not as low profile as the TFO's and the tubes are a bit longer and offer more purchase for emergency racking of the slide. The tubes, however, are fully encased in what I assume is synthetic sapphire so they can't fall out or be harmed by solvents. Do note the actual color pattern of the front sights with the white ring. And I think you can only get green/green in these, not the red/green combo you're looking for but maybe call them and see if it's possible.

Newest on the market is the TFX Pros. These are angled specifically to give better purchase for emergency racking of the slide. Additionally the color scheme changed and now the circle around the front sight tube is orange. The tubes are still fully protected but again, it looks like green/green is the only option.

Personally I'd go with the TFX Pros. My preference would be for green front and black rear...or yellow rear if black wasn't possible. But like I said, i think green/green is going to be your only option.

Trijicon HD's are my go-to sights. Orange front.

Yes, I have a Cross Breed holster but am struggling to get it fitted to the G22. I have watched their video using the hairdryer but it is not as simple as they would lead you to believe.

Still looking for other options on sights...how are the Trijicon sights different? Also, on their sight they post this about Glocks:

No real reason to have giant glowing dots on your rear sight. Many people find it distracting when shooting at speed.

Glock doesn't make a G22 MOS, so whether or not the sights are compatible with MOS seems moot, right?
Black rear sights seem counterintuitive. Fill me in.

But the image shown above is taken in daylight, how can you sight in on a target in darkness with black rear sight?

Solid information in posts 8 and 10 above.

With that said, sights are very much a personal choice. At this point I have guns with three white dots, 3 green tritium dots, 1 green front and 2 yellow rear tritium dots, and a single bright fiber optic front sight post with blacked out rear. I much prefer the front fiber with blacked out rear. And if I absolutely have to have three tritium dots, then I much prefer the green front and yellow rears.

If you've never shot with a blacked out rear, it's pretty popular and I would think you could find someone at just about any range these days who would let you shoot a mag through their gun.

May I suggest you research and consider the Ameriglo T-CAP sight. Well I have not been a big fan of Ameriglo these are the best sights I have used on any gun, (not including optics) they were designed for the Glock in competition, but are also available for M&Ps. They aren't made for any others at this time.

I have put them on all three of my competition and carry guns, after getting a pair in the store. I don't carry sights in my store, but if I did I would certainly carry these. the night sight is brilliant, and they come to eye super fast with fast alignment. And no any experience you have with Big Dot XS do not carry over to this design.
