Hanks Belts - Awesome Customer Service

In a recent thread on belts, a calgunner posted a reference to Hank's Belts. To preface, I have been wearing the Amish Gun Belt from Hanks for CCW everyday for the past 4 years.

After seeing the calgunners post, it made me want to go back to Hanks website as I have not checked since the original purchase of my belt. It was at that moment I saw Hank's 100 year warranty. I emailed Hank's late last night to ask what is covered under their warranty as my belt is beginning to stretch and I had to make my own holes.

I received a response from Hank's at 5:51am this morning stating that a replacement belt based off my original purchase (same belt, same size) has been shipped to me. All I have to do is return my used belt in the pre-paid shipping envelope they sent with my new belt.

I know, cool story, but just wanted to share my experience and spread the good word on Hank's Belts.

Shop the Hanks Gunner Leather Gun Belt at Hanks Belts. Made in the USA, this durable, heavy-duty belt is designed for comfort and functionality.

At ten bucks off I may have to break down and get one.

The price has gone up nearly double from when I first bought it. I think I originally paid $35 shipped. But it is still a great value for the belt and warranty.

The only time I use the Hanks belt is for a light weight pistol IWB.
Once you discover your belt is as important as your holster, graduating to a real carry belt is a blessing.
Compared to the makers of fine carry belts, the Hanks belt is, at best, a C-.
Quality, double layered, double stitched belts won't stretch. They distribute the weight of your firearm and spare mags far better.
Pony up and you won't be disappointed. My favorite is Armour belts.

Upgrading from a generic dress belt or a flimsy "tactical" nylon belt can be a real eye opener.

A quality belt shouldn't require you to over tighten it to get a solid platform for your daily carry, and more importantly, your draw.

If your belt and holster rise with your pistol when you draw, you should consider a real gun belt.

If a belt sags or rolls over unless the belt very tight, it is not really a gun belt regardless how it is marketed...
