What sights are on your carry gun?

Getting a G43 shortly which will be my main carry gun. Want to get some new sights and looking to read what you have on yours, why you decided to go with those and your experience thus far.

I have ameriglo hackathorn sights on my 43 and I'm happy with those. I have trijicon HD on my other carry gun and wanted to try something else when I got my 43 and I don't regret it.

Ameriglo Spartan Operator. A similar front sight as the Trijicon HD but a lower profile rear. I also have them on my G23. I have other guns with Trij HDs but the Spartans are my favorite especially for the G43.

I love these sights, and you can get them at a good price on Opticsplanet. $105 before any discounts. Use code CALGUNS for 5% off or try to find a 10% or 12% off code, they are out there. Free ship, no tax http://www.opticsplanet.com/ameriglo...reen-gl-4.html

I have Ameriglo T-CAP on all three of my carry gun. I know they were designed for competition (and I use them in competition) but the design is the best I have shot, and they have the added advantage of being incredible night sights.

The new version for the Glock guns features a slightly narrower front sight, which makes them faster and even more accurate. Love the sights.

I will likely go with Big Dot sights on my carry weapon. Have them on my G19.

Den60, before you do, take a look at that T-CAP's I have pulled the Big Dot sights off of all my guns and replaced them. Target acquisition is much faster, accuracy is orders of magnitude better. Since your already used to the Big Dot style of aiming you'll take to the T-CAPS like a duck to water. At least take a look.

New for the Springfield EMP, Heinie Straight 8 LEDGE rear sight, factory front night sight. Really like the 2dot combat sights.

Without starting a new thread (or jacking this one, sorry OP).

I am looking at sight replacements for my G20. I want something that I could hunt with if I decided too so no big dot or super fast target acquisition since I'm not aiming at stuff 21 feet away, rather something that I can practice out to maybe 40-50 yards or whatever range and be able to practice at those ranges and become better with the gun.

Trijicon Bright and Tough on mine. All green. If they had the yellow rear option at the time I'd have gone with those for faster distinction of the front sight in low light. Very happy with them. Nice and bright and a sturdy 90 degree angle on the rear so it can rack the slide of a belt or hard surface.

                            Ameriglo I Dot sights.

Great sights but I warn you, changing the sights on an M&P Shield is a PITA!

Truglo TFX Pro on Glock 26 and Trijicon HDs on Glock 36.

I think I like the Trijicons slightly better in the dark but the Truglo is both tritium & fiber optic so an advantage in daylight.

Both are excellent in my opinion. Trijicons have a lifetime warranty I believe.
