No direct experience with this specific set up, but there is lots of info available:

Just a heads up on weapon mounted flashlights, while I use one for home defense, I do not typically use one for carry in the city.

In order to use a weapon mounted flashlight, you must draw you weapon and point it at whatever you are looking at.

If you are a LEO this may not be an issue, but as a civilian you may get shot or at the very least be cited for brandishing your weapon...

For this reason, many of us carry an EDC flashlight in town instead.

Chris well it is certainly possible to get an ankle holster made for a gun with a light, it seems highly unusual to put a light on a BUG gun, particularly the 43.

Are you planning on using the rig on a bare (sock covered ankle) or a boot?

A Sticky Holster (modified for a laser) [there generic term for a weapon mounted accessory) with an Ankle Biter Rig will work. Cost is going to be around $70.

My police accessory manufacture can make one as well. This can be made to order as either a bare ankle rig or a boot rig, will set you back around $40 plus shipping. This uses a elastic pocket type of retention with a velcroe'd level two retention. These are used a lot for 3rd guns by my LEO customers and often pared with an ankle mag holder on the other side.

If you feel like discussing you can call me.

It's an extremely small overall profile set up. It just seems like a good idea sense it doesn't increase the overall profile of the light too much. I'm a graveyard guy so I need lumens lumens lumens lol. In the off chance I have to use it in a situation other than point blank range and or one of my arms is disabled having the weaponmounted light/laser capability I think is always a plus.

              It's doable.

Type of rig though depends on if it's over a boot or on the leg?

Definitely be a boot. I'm thinking of a Crimson trace laser instead as I'm sure that'll decrease the overall profile and open up my options a bit.

If your in California make sure your IA will allow the laser. For example OCSD does not.

A boot Ankle rig for the weapon should be no problem. Price should be $30 to $35 they are made for me by a company out of the mid-west. Black, White or Military Tan are the available colors.

Kydex is available at $70, but I find the elastic based versions more comfortable, lower profile and if you can legally carry a laser, you could move between light or laser with the elastic, where as the Kydex is model and accessorize specific.
