Not really new, several companies have a similar product.

Like any off body option, if you can't carry on body, the next best alternative to having a gun with you when it get's real will have to do.

My only caution for off body carry for men, is that we generally aren't socialized to carry bags. The chance of a man temporarily losing focused control of the bag, or leaving the bag behind is much higher than it would be for a woman, and has to be factored in to whether or not it's a good choice for you.

That big CCW lettering makes me picture a big Paul Blart looking guy yelling "Don't worry I'm a CCW holder!!"
"People sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

Maybe their positioning with that image is that it is hard to clear your CCW from IWB when "all bundled up"?

          Makes sense to me.

              This.

Bad guys know what fanny pack generally means "gun"
Same for anything remotely "tactical" if it is in a position to be easily reached.
Carried as a messenger bag? Doesn't scream "gun" but also not easy to access.

But snatching is a BIG issue.

Normally, a purse (or murse) snatching... let it go. That is not a situation to bring a gun into. If you can't fight them off, be a good victim/witness, call your bank and CC companies, and think about what could have possibly failed in your situational awareness, if anything, to allow that to happen.

With a gun in the p/murse, suddenly retention of that bag becomes EXTREMELY important... and your urgency in defending it will tell the bad guy that something very important is inside.
