Anybody carrying an LCR 9mm or LCRx .38sp?

I currently carry semi-auto, but am also looking for a wheel gun. I really like the 2 mentioned guns for their size and would think a variety would be good. 10+1 is better than 5, but it's still 5 rounds

im not, but I was looking at them. I decided if I wanted a 38+P I really liked the S&W MP340. If you get them all on the counter, there is really no difference in size between the LCR, 340, cheaper 340 (640? Whatever J-frame in 38 +p or 357), even the SP101.

But I liked the night sights on the 340, and the lack of exposed hammer guaranteed ALL practice would be DAO. Always. Period. And also guaranteed if the trigger was no good DAO that it would get gunsmith corrected, not just ignored for SA shooting.

I also prefer to avoid MIM parts when possible and like traditional construction methods.

However, if I did not want to spend $900 on a carry revolver in double action, then it would be the SP101 or the LCR for me. Nod to the SP101 for construction, but if weight was then a concern it would be your LCR.

Doesn't really answer your question. I assume the LCR is 38 +P? midway has some good frangible 38+p COP projectile ammo, +p capable would be important to me. I don;t need the 357 mag, but +p yes.

other than that, I prefer rim cartridges but if your semi auto is a 9mm id want the same in a revolver. otherwise, id pick the 38sp. And I'd consider the non-x LCR, especially if I could save a few bucks.

Here's a question for YOU. How do you carry your semi-auto? (I don't really care what gun or cartridge it is) Do you plan to carry your revolver, whatever you get, the same way? Are you concerned at any differences in width, or not at all? What considerations are you making as you think about carrying a small frame revolver vs your standard carry?

As a former LCr owner in both .38+P and .357.

What I really want is a LCRx in 9mm.
