Another option I am considering is the Q-Series. I just had a friend recommend it to me and it looks like a great option. Any opinions?

      The Remora is the Remora.
It's not "sticky"... it has a texture that helps it grip.
The Sticky Holster is a brand name, one of 3 or 4 similar designs. Grantar2 sells and recommends the Sticky.
DeSantis calls theirs "The Nemesis", Blackhawk has one as well.

For something tuckable with more positive retention than just the pressure of the belt, DeSantis makes a nice inexpensive suede holster for about $30.
It is comfortable, but it doesn't hold the mouth open very well when under compression so reholstering is a bit more difficult. It does have a stiff leather lip, so it's better than the nylon Blackhawk and ebay airsoft holsters.
Shop DeSantis GunHide for premium leather and kydex holsters, duty gear, and more. Experience family-owned, American-made quality. Find your perfect fit today.

I carry a glock 26 in a LAG Defender. Tuckable iwb. Also converts to owb

I finally found a 43 for $450 and it came with a Hogue Handall which in my opinion makes the grip feel perfect.
I have reached out to my local Kydex guy but wasn't in love with his options. I am going to jump on the vendor section immediately after posting this.

I am wondering if anyone can comment on a cheaper holster to use when not necessarily being tucked. I am thinking something light to wear when I wear a suit jacket that I won't take off. That way I can have my gun concealed my by suit jacket instead of my shirt.
The guy I bought the gun from recommended one of the "sticky" holsters that rely on compression to keep the gun in place. He said it was made by Remora.
The Sticky Holster is not made by Remora. Mike who runs Sticky Holster was a cofounder of Remora, and chose to leave and start Sticky Holster, because he felt the material that they use is better, and there some safety issues. Mike won't do a "Sweat Shield" that covers the grip.

Sticky Holsters are wonderful, they are my #1 seller. I have every holster in my store, and wear a Sticky Holster 90% of the time. At $25 they are a steal.

OP, where do you want to carry the gun. Appendix, 3 O'clock, where. Does it matter to you if you carry with a shirt tucked over the gun, or is it really ok to carry the gun IWB but outside the shirt using the jacket for concealment.

If you have a G43, you have one of the easiest guns to conceal, and holsters are available for it. Price range for a good holster will range from $25, to $50 depending on what you would like it to do.

Body type will have some effect, chubby, love handles etc. but you could almost holster a G43 in your fillings.

In the price range mentioned I have Sticky Holsters, leather holsters, kydex holsters that are fully adjustable for cant and retention. This isn't a hard gun to fit someone for.

              Hey guys,

Here is a final update. I looked at a lot of the kydex holsters available locally and found most of them to be rather large and wide. For the time being, I grabbed the Q-series and the 43 literally disappears when I was wearing it today.

My plan now is to use this one for wearing with a jacket so that I necessarily don't have to tuck in a shirt behind it. The main reason for that is I wear mainly brown belts and the black clip will surely stick out against the walnut color.

I also found out that Q-Series sells different colored clips but I'm not sure how much of a difference that will make for me. I might keep looking for something with a clip similar to the Desantis SOF TUK.

Be real careful on re- holstering. I would go so far as to say take the holster off, set the gun and put it back on. Really a dangerous design. Better than the Versa Clip, but not by much. Chance of ND is high.

Hope you don't chose to use this in the Appendix position.

You would have to add a couple of bends to it, but the Ulticlip would be perfect for that with your choice of belts.
The only thing visible tucked would be a small black line just above the belt.

I think the Utiliclip will work perfectly with this holster for a completely hidden look. I am going to try it out for a week without ordering a utiliclip to see how it looks. I am thinking if I am wearing at the 3 O'clock position it won't necessarily stick out that much since my hands are by there a lot. Not to mention when I am wearing a sport coat/jacket it should really never be seen.

I emailed ulticlip last night and they said that their clips can not be bent to work with my holster. So I guess it would have to be either used straight or not at all.

Not true. Just put a spacer in the hole, much like the silicon spacer that Alien Gear uses to off set the clip. Even better if you can used a aluminum spacer.

Also Ulti-Clip has a multi adjustable clip they just debuted at SHOT, they aren't shipping yet, but you can wear the way you have it now and get one of the new clips when they come out.

Honestly though at the 3 O'clock and with a jacket on, who is going to notice a clip?

I'm the guy with the drawer full of holsters... until I bought a Crossbreed.
I have 3 and probably will get a fourth

+10 on the Crossbreed. I have the Crossbreed appendix carry and Crossbreed Freedom carry and they are incredibly comfortable.
The Freedom carry provides tactical light holster options.

                            APPENDIX CARRY

                            FREEDOM CARRY

These holsters pair extremely well with their Instructors belt.
The belt provides a lot of stability and locks your holster to your body at all times.
