During work it goes in a horizontal holster that goes through my belt. I can't do IWB while working so a hammerless J frame goes elsewhere.

Night-Ize large 'Clip Case' belt holster, 9:00; sometimes slips around to 7 or 8, depending on belt loops.

Used to use the models with rotating clips, but had to epoxy the darn things in place after catching the phone on something and ripping it off my belt. Now I use the fixed position clip models.

Imagine your involved in a shooting for fear of your life. Bad guy you shoot droid the knife, gun, or blunt weapon. His "homies" (instructor's word) tries to remove the weapon (evidence) from the scene. You can't shoot them. What to do? That evidence is crucial. You need a phone with camera/video.
who's to say his "homie" isn't picking up the weapon to attempt to use it on you as well? I'd be giving some strong commands for them to either drop the weapon or not to move at all.

          This.
"Homie" becomes as much of a threat as the original attacker if he becomes armed.

"evidence" from a victim/witness phone is subject to credibility question because of the ease with which it can be edited.
For a long time, traffic courts would not accept digital photos as evidence of improper striping or signage. It wasn't until probably 5 years after the growth of popularity of digital cameras that they became accepted.

Samsung s6 in front left pocket when standing or walking, in my hand or on my knee when sitting. If I am wearing a shirt with a pocket I'll keep it there except when doing something physical. It falls out too often. Firearm at 8:30.

LG G3 is in a otter box holster on my left hip at 9/9:30, Pistol is on my right side at 3-4. Phone is noticable when covered by a shirt and actually distracts from my pistol. I have had a few friends who knew I carry think my phone was my pistol.
