So the usual questions

How do you normally dress?
Suit

Shirt tucked in or not?

What is your body type?
What type of belt do you typically wear?
What position on your body do you plan to carry. Appendix, 3 - 6 O'clock
Preconceptions - Leather, Kydex, Hybrid, Friction, etc.

Holsters are like shoes, how you plan to use them is important.

If your seriously carrying for self defense, then you have to weigh two aspects.
1) comfort. If your not comfortable you'll make excuses not to carry.
2) Functionality. Ultimately the only thing worse than not having your gun when you need it, is having a holster that makes it hard to deploy. After you get over the initial this can't be happening to me, you will either a) need to draw well engaged or b) in immediate defense of life so figure less than a 4 second window.

When you chose your holster, (you will likely end up with more than one), you need to be able to count on it.

Sorry, for asking so many questions, but I am in the holster business. I don't make them, I sell them, and my concern is fit and functionality more than the sale, as people on this forum who have been to my shop or met me at a gun show can attest.

Think those issues through.
