I also use a nylon/denier Ganzo (China) knife belt pouch. Fits a Kahr .40 single stack perfectly.
I'm liking the horizontal belt mag pouch more and more.
I'm currently making a setup for my cell phone/mag in my left front pocket oriented upright in a DeSantis SuperFly type material...
Still haven't found the perfect balance of thin and comfortable yet for an IWB pistol holster.
I imagine something like a suede lining on inside(outside of thigh for IWB) with kydex shell and thin belt clip... Anyone know of something like this for Kahr PM9/40 or S&W Airweight hammerless/Bodyguard .38?

Joab© Horizontal Mag Pouch can be customized to you and is a great quality. If we don’t have a mag pouch available for your magazine, we can make it!

They even give you an option for ammo nose down or up for your liking..
      awesome product...

If my particular pants of the day don't allow for that, I usually just don't carry a spare. But 95% of the time I have an empty pocket I can drop a mag or two into.

I experimented with IWB mag holsters. Those experiments were a failure. Whatever flexibility my body had with an IWB pistol, was gone when I added IWB mags on the other side.

A multi-tool pouch is sometimes a good option. I go that route sometimes. But my shirt bottom often get hung-up on it, further increasing the risk of exposing my pistol.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Innovating everyday carry: NeoMag pocket magazine holder, Alias holster attachment system, Sentry Strap sling stages, Scout Sling. #EDC

Similar to the snap mag that was posted before but the mag does not poke out the top in most instances

I carry a comp-tac mag carrier in most cases. It has a very solid clip and doesn't slush around like some other manufacturers. I've been using comp-tac for years.

It's all based on the situation...

                    IWB/OWB? Leather/Kydex? Thanks.
Depends. I carry most of the time. If I am carrying OWB, I have leather holsters and leather mag pouches. I also have kydex rigs that I sometimes use. If I am carrying in my pocket, or Kangaroo carry, or otherwise, then, in my pocket on my offside. If I am hiking and wearing my chest rig, then on my chest. Sometimes, if the gun is in my gym bag, or laptop bag, then that is where my spare mag or spare ammo is going to be. It is completely based on my carry method for that day. --1911ShooterPhil
