So I turned in my CCW application into my local police department a while ago, when the Peruta situation started happening, and did not hear anything about it after that. Recently I checked back in, to see what the status was, and the officer who handles these things has asked me to come in and talk to him about it. My reason for the CCW permit was listed as "self-defense". Any thoughts from the members here about this situation? Anything similar happen to someone else here?
