Couple quick questions before I head to Reno

    1) My AZ permit still isn't good in NV?

    2) Is it still OK to have a concealed handgun in my vehicle?

Someone with more expertise will chime in, but in the meantime, put ten on black for me please.

When in Reno, don't forget the Nation Car Museum. Also, while there get a NV CCW?

Nevada Gun Laws and conceal carry laws and rules provided by CCW Las Vegas. Learn the laws about conceal carry in Nevada.

CCW Las Vegas provides the mandatory classes for a Nevada CCW Permit. Classes are held on weekends in Las Vegas, Enroll online. 702-475-4078.

AZ permit is not valid in NV. The law is silent on concealed handgun in vehicle (there is no law against it), but it is not legal to conceal on your person without a permit. As always, stay 1000' away from schools with a loaded or even unlocked pistol unless you have a CCW issued by the state you are in.

More info might be found here https://www.google.com/search?q=nv+h...E_en&es_sm=122

For CCW training in Reno I recommend Armed & Safe. http://www.armedandsafe.com/ Then you can apply at Washoe County Sheriff Monday - Friday 8A - 4P.

And since one never knows for sure if they're about to find themselves within .189 mile of a school while driving through an urban or suburban area they're not extremely familiar with, probably a good idea to keep it unloaded/locked in built-up areas.

Thanks for the info guys. I was pretty sure NV still isn't recognizing AZ permits, but was hoping lol
