Fullsize 1911 Question: Digging into side

My 1911 feels comfortable when I'm walking/standing. When I sit down, the hammer area (end of the slide) digs into the side of my body. I'm 5'10 and 210 pounds. My body isn't like Zac Efron, but more like Seth Rogan.

I currently wear @ 3:30 position. A temporary fix is to loosen my belt, but I have to tighten it before I stand back up. Can anyone give me some tips?

    Currently running this IWB holster:

I think you need to pull up your pants almost uncomfortably high when seated. Thats what a guy I know does. I have the same issue but am a new CCW holder so I am still figuring things out as I go.

            big gun

I also had to experiment with a position that best fit me.. my iwb is more closer to the inside of my leg. I had to readjust my holster the first time I sat down. I also had to move my belt buckle over to accommodate my holster..
I am using a pure custom holster iwb

                N82 Might Be More Comfortable

Nice review of an N82 Pro IWB holster. He's wearing a full size 1911 @ 3:30 or 4:00. He also has a body frame more like Seth Rogan.

I'm a big guy also, not quite that ^^^ big, LOL, and also carry a full size 1911. I use the tactical holster and it is very comfortable, no digging in to my side, moisture on the gun, etc. I sometimes carry with no T-shirt under my cover shirt and have no issues with the suede against my skin. The suede leather also "grips" and prevents the holster from moving around. I carry with the clip over my belt which allows the holster to ride just a little higher than the guy in the video.

I am seriously considering getting one of the Professional models. I was leery at first of the twist to release component, but it seems most people have no issues with that feature.

The only "complaint" I have with the Tactical model is the webbing makes it very difficult for me to re-holster my gun without removing the holster.

Just imagine what a full size 1911 would look like attached to ZE's side. Probably would be larger than his whole torso.

Same thing happens to me, so I just adjust the depth holster with the belts hooks. Now I have been working hard to get rid of my love handles so that its more comfortable, almost there.

I carry with a TT gunleather IWB holster and carry at about 430 position. I can sit in my car no problem and just drove to Oregon and tested 6 hours of driving without any pinch etc. At times initially upon sitting it kinda bugs but a quick adjustment in sitting quickly makes it unnoticeable. I tried a sticky holster which was not as comfortable even in about the same position, but I could remove it in the car and stick it next to my seat perfectly and easily put it back to go in gas station etc, but not near as comfortable as my TT gun holster.
