Last saturday a friend and I took a cow training course at The Range in fresno. Monday I made an appointment with the madera county sherif office to take the live scan and submit my application. This morning I did the live scan, took a short multiple choice test and dropped off my application. I got all the questions right on the test. It should take about 12 weeks until I get a call. I have a clean record and so I'm not worried about passing. Madera is pretty much shall issue as long as you pass the background check.

This will be a long 12 week wait.

LASD could learn from Madera County. It is called the "Bill of Rights", not the Bill of if the Sheriff deems to give you your constitutionally guaranteed right. How long would the LA Sheriff stay in office if he denied you your 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th amendment rights?

it was about 20 questions long with 2/3 of the questions being true or false. They were simple questions about gun safety and basic ccw stuff. It was about as easy as the handgun safety test

My wait was 4 months 4 days from initial appointment to permit in hand.

Different counties and I've heard that madera is reasonably fast. My friend is dropping off his application on Monday. We will get to see who gets approved first
