Recieved a call from OCSD today after 50 days

Been waiting on my approval for 50 days now and finally recieved a call from my BI. There has been no RES check that I'm aware of but got a call today stating somthing in my background check was holding me up. Was up front about all moving violations which all occurred 3+ years ago, absolutely no criminal record but in 2006 when I was 18 had a nasty breakup, and my ex's parents wanted me to have no contact with her any longer because I was the problem in there eyes and had an officer call me and ask me to stop contacting her which is what I did. But some how it came up in my BI as annoying phone calls but her parents didn't press charges, nor did I ever meet in person with an officer or giving any kind of writing documents. I was told by my BI He just wanted my side of the story and would take notes and send it the the lieutenant for approval/denial and I should hear by next week. Like I said 2 speeding tickets in 09 and never been arrested or charged with a crime. Anybody had any similar situations with the BI, am I boned?

What county r u in?
Did ur history come up in ur livescan or just ur initial interview?

My best guess is that the reason u haven't been pre-approved is because of good moral character issue. I realize u didn't get charged with anything but the ccw department wants complete honesty from the applicants. I would just email the LT. himself and explain ur situation or wait to see either u get approved and move on or get denied and appeal the decision by stating ur case.

I personally didn't have a clean record but I came forward with everything even my juvenile offense that happen 13years ago.

I had a small hiccup in my process, when I talked to my BI he said oh so and so popped up a bit ago can I get your side of the story I said yeah this is what happened. He then told me no big deal as the lady changed her story after the fact. I wouldnt say this is necessarily going ot affect you its just going to probably slow you down which sucks.

I had the same thing happen and was denied. I'm going to file an appeal.

Crazy Ex called and said I hit her. They gave her a TRO. I was out of town the time she called this all in. Went to court 3 times to have the restraining order dismissed so I can keep my guns and nothing ever became of it. I had a couple tickets from 09 as well for speeding and a fix it ticket. I just received my denial today for good moral character. Calling tomorrow. My issue with the crazy gf happened in 09.
