Can i put a pistol registered to my father on my CCW? (Up to your issuing agency)

Pretty much what the title says, can I put a pistol that is registered to my father on my conceal carry list, and vice versa, can he put a pistol registered to me on his permit?

I am going to take the training and assume I will learn the answer there but I am trying to plan ahead and figure out how much of each caliber ammo I will need. My guess is no but I am a very hopeful guy, for instance I still live in California.

    Thank you
Genesis 1:28 "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

it would be from the mendocino county sheriff. I'm just gonna go with no and start planning from that. It is a bummer you can't though it would be nice to be able to do this, or borrow guns from a friend as a trial to make sure it would fit all your daily carry needs of comfort, weight, etc before you buy a similar gun. however i think its not the first issue i need to address to the state of CA about the 2nd amendment.

You could always call them and ask.

I don't know steadyrock that idea seems too logical and easy. There's probably a law against it.
