    Final CCW Appointment

Wondering if anyone has gone through this and can share their experience on what to expect. What happens after? Etc.

You live in California. There's always more crazy. It's a renewable resource.

It takes about 10-15-ish minutes (not including wait time), more if the gals are chatty. Bring in your cert and your check. You'll be given a list of "regulations/conditions" of your permit that you will sign for.

Show them your cert so they can verify it's real. Give them your check. They'll hand you your CCW.

Give the permit a once-over to make sure there are no mistakes; typos and wrong serial numbers are not uncommon.

That's it. Go forth and carry.

Make sure your serial numbers, caliber and model are correct on cert. My Sig was listed as a P229 instead of P226.
