    Stanislaus County Question

In Stanislaus County, does it mean your background check came back when you receive your phone interview? Thanks in advance.

Anyone know if you can add another pistol at time of pick up of permit?

It's possible you can. No harm in asking. I've added two in the last 6 years after already having my CCW. Although they were swamped with applications, they were super fast in adding the guns. It only took one phone call, and they had me come in a day or so afterwards. So hopefully they'll add it for you on the spot. Otherwise it shouldn't take long.

You can. It is frowned upon, the girls in the office have enough paperwork already. When you pick up your LTC you will recieve a plastic ID LTC card and a paper LTC. Both have your listed guns on them. A change takes 9-12 weeks. And yes your current LTC is still valid but only with the listed guns already printed on them.

I must have been lucky both times. One phone call and it was ready within two days. Although they were already swamped then, maybe it's worse now. I did the last gun addition/change last October. When I went to pick up the new card, there was a missing number on the new guns serial number. I caught it right away while still there. So she took it back and printed out a new warm one in minutes. They are very friendly, IMHO.

To say the least, they are VERY professional.

I was just in today for my new licence interview. I saw that they are no longer allowing modifications to an existing ccw until it's time to renew. Only change they are allowing is an address change. They also said the doj/fbi check would take 12-13 wks. They were very nice though.

I went in today to turn in my certificate and added two other firearms to my ccw application. I was told once the permit is issued you won't be to make changes until your renewal.

Bummer, they must be way swamped to be changing that policy. Glad I'm good to go for now, anyway. I hope davidly15 doesn't have too much trouble with it.
