    Fanny Pack

I see a resurgence of the once great fanny pack. I still have a very nice Tex Shoemaker fanny pack that I used to carry back In the late 80’s and 90’s. I think I’ll be a trend setter, hopefully not in North Hollywood, but with the common man.

A man for all seasons. A man not afraid to wear flannel after March 1st. A man proud to eat food from its container, no plate or bowl needed. A man, unafraid of owning a small dog. A man who firmly believes a pee without a f@rt is like a day without sunshine.

    Think of the advantages:
A convenient carry for most all situations.

Stylish? Not at first maybe, but destined to catch on again. Remember, there's nothing new under the sun.

    Fast? You bet.

Gun available to either hand? Well, it’s easier than an off-hand draw from an IWB.

Blend in? Not to anyone else carrying. But for the most part I’d look like a Midwest or Canadian tourist. Throw in a few eh’s and you betcha’s and I’m good.

Take a dump? No problem. Hang it on the stall door.

Mugger without a weapon? No problem. Take it off and beat him with it.

    Extra ammo? No sweat.

    I think this might work . . .

Why would you have an off-hand draw with an IWB?

This is just the ticket for NoHo! By the way, these come with frowning face or smiley face.

But fast, no, not at all compared to even an IWB from concealment. Get a shot timer and prove it to yourself.

Keep telling yourself that, but in all seriousness, if it works for you go for it. Though I'll still think you look silly.
