Has anyone had a problem with LiveScan?

I did my Livescan over 3 weeks ago and still have not heard anything. I have never been out of state except on vacation to Hawaii this year or out of the country so there shouldn't be anything on FBI/DOJ records. Just wondering if anyone has ever failed Livescan for any reason ? Thanks in advanced.

You can call and get info on your Livescan using the 24-hour Automated Telephone Service : (916) 227-4557. Call and follow the directions

You don't specify which county you are in, but Sacramento county waits until they have the hard copy of your Livescan in hand before they continue with your application process.

I am in Sacramento County. I already called that number awhile ago and it said the results were transmitted on 11/16

Your time frame is similar to everyone else that has applied in Sac county. I wouldn't start sweating yet.

SSD waits until they receive the hard copy of the Livescan from DOJ. My results were transmitted the next day, but I didn't get my Livescan clearance letter until about a month later.

In hindsight, I should have taken my training/qualification while I was waiting for my Livescan results. I would have shaved about 2 weeks off my permit process.

Received Livescan clearance letter today! Went online to setup appointment to sign final papers and first available date is 1/2/13. They must really be busy with applications because last week I checked and there were appointments available still for this week. Should have booked one then. Oh well I'm just glad I don't have to wait for Livescan any longer.
