Question on holsters

Monday-Friday I wear a suit and would still like to conceal but having issues finding a nice tuckable holster.

I knwo everyone is different and it's a opinion but I would like to hear which holsters business men have had success using while wearing a suit.

Does anyone wear a shoulder holster with a jacket?

Unless you keep your suit jacket buttoned all the time the gun will show. Try looking at ubg itw holsters. They are realy a cut above.

I have a Crossbreed Supertuck. There are a few brands out there that people swear by, and Crossbreed is one. I can tell you from experience that it's a great holster and, depending on the gun, no one will know you're carrying. I have a Sig 229R and it disappears at 3-4 o'clock.

I have a Milt Sparks VMII with tuckable clips and it hides nicely under s sports coat and is extremely comfortable. However, it is not my preferred carry as I don't always wear a jacket except when meeting with clients or my business partners. I prefer a nice pocket carry gun like my KT P3AT or sometimes my Colt Detective Special.

+1 for the Crossbreed. Each of what's on my LTC have a Supertuck. I'm still working on which is better, horsehide or cowhide, I have both. I have NEVER regretted spending the $$ for Marks holsters. You indeed get what you pay for. You need to also consider what belt. Jim at the Beltman produces a superior product, I have one of each in the colors I need.
You'll find with time you'll be able to make a quality IWB work more than you think right now, and not just with a jacket or coat.

I use a Galco Kingtuck and another Galco IWB with my suit, but that only works during the winter with a jacket. I still haven't found a holster that will work with the suit without the jacket yet.

My question for you IWB guys..... do you have to buy pants to fit these Holsters (ie Crossbreed, Galco, etc)???? I think this is an overlooked caveat to the IWB holsters, specially if you do not want to go out and buy a whole bunch of new pants.

One does need a little extra room for the holster and gun. I didn't have to buy any new clothes just for carry, but I have changed the clothes that I buy to accommodate carry. IMO carry is a lifestyle change. One can't go from emo to country without buying new clothes. It's no different for carry.

Some do and some don't. I am going to cautiously say that most do go up one pant size to accommodate an IWB holster. I have noticed that I can get away wearing a hybred in a 4-5 oclock with my regular sized pants. But for my desantis madmax at 3, I need my larger pants. I also only own a full size glock, so not sure if a smaller weapon makes a difference.

My two carry guns are a FNP and CW9. When in a suit, i take the cw9 with me since its the easier to conceal than the FNP and i feel like the CW9 is the most compact gun i can have without sacrificing performance and firepower.

As with anything related to CCW and wardrobe, there has to be a wardrobe sacrifice. I carry shoulder hoster most of the time, cross draw, with spare mag on opposite side. The wardrobe sacrifice i have to make is that the jacket stays on; its no big deal to keep the jacket on all the time, but it is something that needs to be considered. My second option is carrying in the small of my back in a iwb leather holster if i forsee myself moving a bit more and with a possibility of exposing my shoulder rig. From experience, cross draw shoulder and iwb at small of back are the best ballance between concealability and accessibility. Best part, no custom modification needed to any suits.

I never have. Maybe since I've always worn a belt all my pants and shorts are a bit loose than normal to begin with, I don't know. Typically, unless I've had a large breakfast or something, I'm on the same belt notch with or without carrying.

I carry an lcr in a micro crossbreed .works excellent and my pants were butt huggers from the beginning so they work

When i wear a suit which is about a dozen times a year i keep jacket on
