Utah - Permit Timeline

So Utah BCI has 60 days to process and if you call they always state 60 days.

Well can anybody here provide some input about their actual Utah permit timeline, anything within the last few months.

And if mailed this week (11/5) do you think a permit would be issued before 12/31?

I sent mine in around The third week of August and it was issued September 19. You'll be close with those dates but don't wait, worst that could happen (aside from being denied) is you have it a little late. At least you'll have it.

I got mine a couple years ago and it arrived on the 60th day.

My experience was 2 years ago, but mine came about 3 weeks after sending everything in...

I mailed mine on 10/22 via Priority Mail.
It was received on 10/24 (Delivery Confirmation).
My CC was charged on 10/30.

Received: 12/07

Right now turn around time is between 50 - 60 days based on my students feedback.

Keep in mind that during election times when people buy a bunch of guns, permit applications spike as well. That can slightly extend the processing.

Received my Utah permit today. I updated the timeline in post #6. 46 days door to door.
