I think on the 365 the safety actually disengages the sear doesn’t it?Comment

As you train, so shall you fight. I am wearing a 365 with one in the chamber and the manual safety engaged right now, as every day.
I shoot it in IDPA and practice draws. "Making sure you hit the safety" is as difficult as pressing the trigger.Originally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Originally posted by repubconservPrint it out and frame it for all I careOriginally posted by el chivoI don't need to think at all..XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOriginally posted by pjsigYou are talking to someone who already won this lame conversation, not a brick a wall. no. under no circumstances would i ever carry a striker fired pistol that has a thumb safety. now i do carry a striker fired pistol without a thumb safety on duty as well as off duty. as far as one in the chamber goes, if you aren't carrying with a round chambered, you shouldn't be carrying that gun.best troll thread in calguns history

So is it "stryker" issues or "safety" issues?Comment

I think it is a new user issue.
The gun is designed as it is designed. Practice/Train with what you got. That's about all one can do. Or use a different gun.
The Hellcat for example doesn't have the manual safety on it's CA version.
I'd personally not want to explain why I am carrying something in a manner it wasn't designed for.
Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.👍 1Comment

Perfectly reasonable to carry with a safety, you just need to train using the safety. Its also perfectly safe to carry without a safety, you just need to train knowing there is no safety (and this shouldnt change anything as you should assume loaded and cocked at all times).
This topic has been beaten to death for decades and it comes down to training in either configuration. Both are proficient, both are safe.Comment
