Insurance can't cover you in an unlawful shoot.

many of the ccw programs are good in an county like Kern.

in Los Angeles, you most likely will face charges for many good shoots. If this happens, make sure your policy will cover you. If it won't cover you, just be aware what it will cover.

many might be better off with an umbrella policy added to their renters/ homeowners insurance policy.

for $200-$300 annually you can add 1-2 million in coverage with an umbrella policy.

Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

You bet! That's why it's at least as important for armed citizens to have comprehensive estate planning, including self-settled asset protection, which is generally quite expensive if done correctly.

Deadly hesitation can result from lack of comprehensive estate planning.

CCW Safe seems to cover the basis depending on which plan you select. Coverage for bail and both criminal and civil prosecution can be included.

Insurance companies make money by denying claims - and don't know jack-**** about guns or SD issues.

Look at Attorneys on Retainer, that's who I decided to depend on.

If you get charged- it's deemed an illegal act and insurance cannot legally pay for an illegal act.

so a clean shoot in Fresno, might have you charged in San Francisco.

in Fresno, ccw insurance could be a win.
in San Fran, you might have zero coverage

I've signed up with two different companies.
                Hopefully, I'll never need either.

Back before the USCCA fiasco, it was get both USCCA and CCWsafe. Now everyone says get an insurance and AOR.

                    So pick one and AOR.

                    Better safe than sorry.

I had CCW Safe for about 8 years, then recently switched to AOR (Attorney's on Retainer). I think CCW Safe is an excellent company and the best of the insurance backed companies, but switched to AOR for 3 main reasons:

                      1. CCW Safe and other insurance backup companies do not offer coverage in Washington State and a few other states. I have family in WA, so every time I visit, I have no coverage. AOR covers all 50 states.

                      2. The insurance backup models like CCW Safe, USCCA, etc. scare me a little bit. All the coverage decisions are made by the corporate folks at the insurance company, and I am not willing to bet my freedom on the decisions of an accountant at an insurance company.

                      3. After watching many AOR YouTube videos and talking to the owner, Marc Victor, I really feel like they will have my back, and will not try to deny service by using a "small print" technicality. I also feel that they are completely transparent in what they offer.

My best advice is to do the research and pick the plan that works best for you.
