Heading to Catalina for a day trip next month. Purchased tickets and received an email that states the following...
"Prohibited Items: Tandem bicycles, kayaks, four wheeled dollies or trash cans over 13 gallons, four-wheel carts and fixed four-wheel wagons. Due to presence of lithium ion batteries hoverboards are PROHIBITED to transport upon Catalina Express. Drones must have the battery removed prior to boarding and stay with the passenger throughout the trip.
USCG Prohibits Flammables, combustibles and dangerous items. Review the entire list at CatalinaExpress.com on the Baggage Information page or call 800.622.2354 for specific questions. Luggage is subject to inspection on arrival at the terminal or on boarding any Catalina Express vessel."
Any first hand experience with screening during boarding at their terminal?
Thank you in advance.
