Initial CCW Training San Bernardino County

I have the option of taking initial CCW at San Bernardino County or one of the approved vendors below..
Any recommendations for where I should take it for least bs? I saw one of the vendors having requirments such as "brimmed hat".... that kinda requirment tells me alot about how misreable those 16 hours will be at that venue lol.

Also if I do take it at the county location, do you need if a holster is required? they dont mention it anywhere.

The County would probably be the least expensive route.

I took my initial class/qualification at the Sheriffs academy by Glen Helen. The entire class was 8 hours including range qual. not 16 hours. No holster required, just bring your guns and ammo in a locked container. BTW, They dont check if you have a locked container or if ammo is separate or not. We shot two mags from each listed gun that was it. The class was really enjoyable, and the Sheriffs are 110% on our side.

I just got my CCW with them and used the sheriffs for range qualification training instead of their listed vendors. It's actually cheaper and the sheriff is very pro 2A. Once all the require training, paperwork, and payment were done I was able to pick up my permit the next business day. They're very fast and efficient but it took me about 7 months from the start of my application to when I picked up my official permit.
